Blinken Welcomes Ceasefire Between Azerbaijan and Armenia
The U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has commented on the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on his Twitter page, writing: "We welcome the ceasefire between Azerbaijan and Armenia and will continue working with both sides to strengthen it. The U.S. is committed to promoting a peaceful and prosperous future in the South Caucasus."
On September 13, at 00:05, Azerbaijani armed forces launched a large-scale attack in the directions of Gegharkunik, Syunik, and Vayots Dzor provinces of Armenia, using artillery, mortars, drones, and large-caliber firearms targeting both military and civilian infrastructure.
