More than Half of EU Residents Do Not Support Anti-Russian Sanctions, Medvedev
More than half of EU residents, and in some countries up to two-thirds, are not willing to support anti-Russian sanctions. This was stated by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, on his Twitter account.
“According to survey data, more than half are not ready to defend the anti-Russian sanctions, and in individual states, two-thirds of them are also not on board,” Medvedev wrote.
In his opinion, the residents of Europe are beginning to wonder why they should pay for the mistakes of others. “Of course, we want peaceful cooperation, trade, exchanges, and normal collaboration for everything. We are not closing ourselves off to anyone and support all reasonable proposals,” Medvedev emphasized, as reported by RIA Novosti.
