U.S. State Department on Tensions in Artsakh
The United States is deeply concerned about the intense fighting occurring around Nagorno-Karabakh, stated Ned Price, spokesperson for the U.S. State Department.
“The United States is deeply troubled and closely monitoring reports regarding the intense clashes surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, which have resulted in loss of life and injuries. We call for an immediate de-escalation of tensions and the avoidance of further escalation.
The recent surge in tensions underscores the need for diplomatic, comprehensive, and sustainable resolution of all issues related to or arising from the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” the State Department spokesperson stated.
