Earthquake Near Bavra
On August 3, at 13:11 local time (09:11 GMT), an earthquake was registered by the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations' Seismic Protection Territorial Service. The earthquake occurred at geographical coordinates 41.18°N and 43.94°E in the Georgia-Armenia border area, 13 km northeast of the village of Bavra, with a depth of 10 km and a magnitude of 2.6.
The intensity of the seismic tremor in the epicentral zone was measured at 3-4 points. The earthquake was felt in the villages of Bavra and Saragyugh in Shirak Province, with an intensity of 2-3 points.
