Host's Condition Worsens After Interview with Zakharova
Italian La7 television channel host Massimo Giletti felt unwell after his interview with Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova. The journalist, who was connected from Moscow to the Rome studio, concluded the interview via Skype and began discussing it with guests on the Non è l’Arena program.
Suddenly, he began to feel unwell. After an advertising break, it was announced that Giletti had suddenly taken ill. The show continued without the host, but less than an hour later, he reconnected with the studio.
Giletti returned to the booth without a tie, attributing his dizziness to a lack of sugar or possibly the cold weather in Moscow. According to the host, Vladimir Solovyov was the one who provided him with first aid.
