In Astrakhan, Russia, a clergyman has hit a woman crossing at a pedestrian crosswalk. This was reported by Readovka news outlet.

The incident occurred on the Nachalovskoye highway, located in the eastern outskirts of Astrakhan. The driver approached the pedestrian crosswalk at high speed. One pedestrian managed to dodge the vehicle, but the woman walking in front was not able to escape in time.

The woman struck by the vehicle later died from her injuries.

After the collision, the driver stops and approaches the woman’s body dressed in clerical clothing, then returns to his vehicle and changes into civilian clothes. The driver did not attempt to flee the scene.
