“No one will supply anything for free” says Peskov
Russia clearly does not intend to supply its natural gas to anyone for free. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, to reporters on May 20, according to Regnum.
“We have no information about all the companies with which Gazprom has contracts,” said the Kremlin spokesperson, commenting on the Finnish company Gasum's statement that it is not prepared to pay in rubles for Russian gas.
At the same time, Peskov noted that the details of the contracts for the supply of Russian gas should be clarified with Gazprom. “But it is obvious that no one will supply anything for free,” he emphasized.
