In Sotk, the injured is a 35-year-old miner: he is currently undergoing surgery
Activities at the Sotk mine have been suspended, and employees have been evacuated. This was stated by Rouzanna Grigoryan, a representative of GeoProMining Gold, in a conversation with NEWS.am.
“Gunfire has been heard periodically yesterday and today during the day,” noted Grigoryan.
According to Rouzanna Grigoryan, the injured individual is a 35-year-old driller at the mine. “He is currently undergoing surgery at a military hospital. Fortunately, only his left arm was injured, and there are no internal organ injuries. The doctors assess his condition as stable,” said Rouzanna Grigoryan.
The injured driller from Sotk is Armen Matevosyan, a native of Artsakh.
