Participation in Rallies Will Mean Goodbye to Jobs: 'Hraparak'
“Hraparak” newspaper reports that the employees of administrative regions and state agencies were sternly warned the day before not to participate in opposition-organized rallies and marches. It was stated that if anyone is 'caught' at the scene, they will say goodbye to their jobs.
Our sources within the government indicate that while in the early days of the protests, the authorities were confident that the movement would diminish and people would disperse, the recent intensification of demonstrations has compelled them to reassess their position and prevent the resistance from growing exponentially.
