Another Earthquake Near Armenia's Border
On May 2, at 4:50 PM local time (12:50 PM GMT), the seismic network of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations recorded an earthquake in the border zone between Georgia and Armenia, located 14 km northeast of the village of Bavra, at geographical coordinates of 41.18° N latitude and 43.95° E longitude, with a depth of 10 km and a magnitude of 2.7.
The intensity of the underground tremors in the epicentral area was measured at 3-4 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt in the villages of Bavra, Sizavet, and Saragyugh in Shirak Province, registering an intensity of 3.
