"The US and EU intend to fight Russia until the last Ukrainian," Lavrov

NATO countries are doing everything possible to prevent the end of Russia's special operation in Ukraine through political arrangements. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with the Xinhua news agency.

“We are now witnessing a classic manifestation of the double standards and hypocrisy of the Western establishment. By publicly supporting the Kyiv regime, NATO countries are doing everything to prevent the operation from ending through political agreements,” said the minister.

“Various weapons are being sent to Ukraine in an endless flow through Poland and other NATO countries. All this is being done under the pretext of 'fighting against aggression', but in reality, the US and the European Union intend to fight Russia until the last Ukrainian, and they are absolutely indifferent to the fate of Ukraine as an independent subject of international relations,” Lavrov added.

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that the US and NATO “need to wake up and stop supplying weapons and ammunition to Kyiv” if they are genuinely interested in resolving the Ukrainian crisis.
