Iran and Armenia are Part of Azerbaijani Territory: Absurd Statements from Azerbaijan and Puyah Hosseini's Response

Puyah Hosseini, the founder of the "Armenia-Iran Cooperation Development Foundation," wrote on his Facebook page: "The Baku authorities plan to hold an anti-Iranian congress in Nagorno-Karabakh. According to published reports, a so-called congress of 'world Azerbaijanis' is expected to be held in Shushi. This means that Baku is trying to use the region of Karabakh as a foothold for its separatist policies and an attack on Iran, although this was predicted multiple times before and after the 2020 war.

On the other hand, the logo of the congress incorporates a map depicting Armenia's Syunik region as part of Azerbaijan. Togrul Allahverdi, the head of the Azerbaijani diaspora information center, which is organizing this so-called fifth congress of world Azerbaijanis, posted threats against Armenia and Iran on his Twitter page: 'Iran and Armenia are part of Azerbaijani territory. We will hold our sixth congress in Tabriz and Yerevan.'
