Russia's Defense Ministry Calls for Immediate Prevention of Possible Provocation by Kyiv During Easter

Russia calls on the UN, OSCE, International Committee of the Red Cross, and other international organizations to immediately influence Kyiv's regime to prevent a possible provocation during Easter. This announcement was made by the head of the National Defense Management Center of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev.

According to Mizintsev, with the support of several Western countries, the Kyiv regime is completing preparations for horrific provocations that are expected to result in numerous casualties in the regions of Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, and Kharkiv. He stated that during the night of Easter (from April 23 to 24), there are plans to shell Orthodox churches with mortars, in order to later blame Russian servicemen for the mass killing of civilians.

Mizintsev added that Russia has an operational database of evidence regarding the terrible provocations being prepared by Kyiv. "We urge the UN, OSCE, International Committee of the Red Cross, and other international bodies to immediately influence Kyiv's regime to prevent provocations that ignore all norms of humanity, morality, and international humanitarian law," said the general.

According to Mizintsev, this urgent statement is subject to immediate publication and should be made accessible to all the mentioned organizations.

It is noteworthy that on the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that a decision has been made to conduct a special military operation against Ukraine, as the LPR and DPR requested assistance.
