Earthquake in Azerbaijan Felt in Armenia
On April 15, at 17:02 local time (13:02 GMT), the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 at geographical coordinates 41.51° N latitude and 46.98° E longitude, located 31 km southeast of the city of Zaqatala in Azerbaijan, at a depth of 10 km.
The intensity of the underground shock in the epicentral zone reached 5 on the Richter scale.
The earthquake was felt in the town of Noyemberyan in Armenia's Tavush Province, as well as in the villages of Koti, Berdavan, and Koghb, where it registered an intensity of 3.
