Snowfall in Some Regions of Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roadways in the territory of Armenia. Closed are the roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd fortress and the Karkar Lake.

Due to damage to the bridge on the M3 roadway segment in the Armavir region between Lusagyugh and Yerasxahun, the section is closed for freight vehicles. The alternative route via Aknashen-Gay-Metsamor-Jrarat is operational.

Snowfall is reported in the Ashotsk region of Shirak. According to information from the Emergency Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars roadway is open for all types of vehicles.
