No Explosive Device Found at Metronom, Ministry of Emergency Situations Reports
The Ministry of Emergency Situations has reported that no explosive device has been found at the Metronom shopping center.
Earlier, the ministry had indicated that at approximately 14:13, the National Crisis Management Center received information about the placement of an explosive device near the Metronom shopping center on Isahakyan Street in Yerevan. Emergency responders, in collaboration with police officers, evacuated around 500 citizens from the area.
Emergency services on site included a firefighting unit from the Yerevan Rescue Division of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, engineering rescue teams from the Civil Protection Department, medical support teams, and specialized units from the Rescue Forces Division dedicated to special rescue operations.
