Nearly 500 Citizens Evacuated from 'Metronom' Shopping Center
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that today at 14:13, a call was received regarding the presence of an explosive device near the 'Metronom' shopping center on Isahakyan Street in Yerevan.
The Ministry has provided an update, stating that rescuers, in conjunction with police officers, have evacuated nearly 500 citizens. Inspection works are currently underway at the site.
A firefighting and rescue team from the Emergency Situations Department of Yerevan, along with engineer-sapper units from the Civil Defense Department, medical support services, and canine units from the Special Rescue Operations Center are present at the scene, working to ensure safety and manage the situation.
