US Statement on Upcoming Meeting Between Pashinyan and Aliyev
The United States welcomes the meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev scheduled for April 6th in Brussels. This was stated in a Twitter post by the U.S. mission to the OSCE.
“We welcome the announcement that negotiations will take place between Prime Minister Pashinyan and President Aliyev on April 6 in Brussels. We call for increased attention to the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and reiterate support for the diplomatic resolution of all outstanding issues,” the post read.
European Council President Charles Michel will hold a joint meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on April 6 in Brussels.
