Russian Companies to Pay in Rubles for Aircraft Purchases from the West: Putin's New Decree
President of Russia Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on the "Temporary Procedure for the Fulfillment of Financial Obligations in Front of Certain Foreign Creditors in the Transport Sector." This was reported by РИА новости.
According to the decree, Russian companies will be able to pay less friendly countries' creditors in rubles for leasing and purchasing aircraft from accounts opened in Russian banks.
