Photos: Armenian Manufacturers Showcase New Defense Technologies with President in Attendance

The President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan, attended the opening ceremony of the 3rd International Exhibition of Defense Technologies, "ArmHiTech 2022," held from March 31 to April 2 at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex.

In his speech, Vahagn Khachaturyan welcomed the attendees and noted that this event has special significance for him.

“We, the leaders of the high-tech industry, understanding all this and appreciating the capabilities of the ministry, proposed last December (when I was still serving as the minister) to turn the government’s decision from February 2021 regarding the organization of the 'ArmHiTech 2022' exhibition into reality. We could not have predicted all the challenges and complexities that would arise, but thanks to the organizers, a large inter-agency group worked tirelessly, and today it has become a reality,” President Khachaturyan stated.

The President expressed hope that the exhibition would create opportunities for new collaborations, joint programs, and the realization of creative ideas.
