Metal Ball Found in 14-Year-Old's Facial Soft Tissue

A 14-year-old boy visited the "Muratsan" University Hospital, complaining of pain and swelling in the right cheek area. It was later revealed that days earlier, the boy had been struck by a toy gun while playing with friends. An X-ray investigation showed the presence of a metal ball in the soft tissues of the right cheek. The ball was surgically removed.

University specialists advise parents to be more attentive and not to allow their children to play with such toys, as they can cause serious injuries to vital organs, potentially leading to irreversible consequences.
