Urgent: Azerbaijani Forces Use Mortars 15 Times, Says Defense Army
On March 9, throughout the day and into the night, the Azerbaijani armed forces regularly violated the ceasefire using various caliber firearms and mortars. Specifically, on March 9, between 14:00 and 14:30, two 60 mm mortar shells were fired in the direction of the area adjacent to the village of Khnushinak in the Martuni region of Artsakh. Additionally, from 15:50 until 05:40 on March 10, the adversary used 60 mm mortars 15 times in the eastern direction, firing a total of 23 shells in the vicinity of the village of Kharamorot. There were no casualties on the Armenian side.
Information regarding the gross violations of the ceasefire has been communicated to the Russian peacekeeping forces operating in Artsakh. This was stated in a statement released by the Defense Army.
