Putin and Scholz Hold Phone Conversation
Russian President Vladimir Putin has had a phone conversation with German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz, during which they discussed the developments surrounding the special military operation in Donbas and various options for political and diplomatic efforts. This was reported by the official website of the Kremlin.
Putin and Scholz also addressed the results of the third phase of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations.
“In addition, special attention was given to the humanitarian aspects of the situation in Ukraine and the Donbas republics. The Russian President informed about the measures taken to organize humanitarian corridors to evacuate civilians from conflict zones and attempts to prevent the safe evacuation of people from armed nationalist groups,” the Kremlin's website stated.
