Biden Announces Ban on Russian Oil Imports Amid Concerns for the US Economy
US President Joe Biden has announced a ban on the import of Russian oil into the United States. He stated, "The decision to prohibit the import of Russian oil and gas will hit the US economy directly, but Washington believes that it is necessary to take this step," Biden said.
Biden also urged the US Congress to approve a $12 billion aid package for Ukraine.
