Russia Has Made a Mistake: Zelensky's Office Reacts Sharply to Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's office advisor Mykhailo Podolyak has stated that Russia has made a mistake in its negotiations with Ukraine by presenting ultimatums regarding the end of the war.
“It is clear that we will not accept any ultimatum, whatever it may relate to. Behind us, justifiably, are tens of millions of Ukrainians. And it is unlikely that tens of millions of Russians will stand behind some ultimatums from Moscow. These are just propaganda myths. Our position is clear. Negotiations must be real and adequate. This will make them more substantive. And substantive negotiations do not accept an ultimatum tone. The sooner the Russian side agrees with this, the fewer losses it will have, primarily also for Russia itself, after this war,” said Mykhailo Podolyak.
