TikTok Halts Operations in Russia
TikTok has decided to temporarily ban the upload of new videos and live streams in Russia due to the new law concerning "fake news," according to a statement from the company.
“The safety of our employees and users remains our top priority,” stated the company. “This decision will not affect our messaging service within the app,” the company added in a press release.
Additionally, it has been reported that under the new law regarding "fake news," the company had no choice but to halt live broadcasts and the posting of new content.
