Streets in Europe with Russian Embassies to be Renamed in Honor of Ukraine
The capital of Albania, Tirana, will rename the street where the Russian and Ukrainian embassies are located to Free Ukraine Street. This announcement was made by Tirana's mayor Erion Veliaj on Sunday.
Veliaj noted that the new name serves as a reminder to the staff of the Russian embassy. European Pravda reminds us that in Vilnius, the street housing the Russian embassy will be renamed in honor of Ukrainian heroes. In Riga, part of Antonijas Street, which also hosts the Russian embassy, will be renamed Independence Street of Ukraine.
