Murder in Gyumri: The Victim Was a 35-Year-Old Man
Last night, around 01:05, a murder occurred in Gyumri. An ambulance crew transported a citizen, who had been stabbed, to the Gyumri Medical Center from in front of the Andranik statue on Atarbekyan Street. According to Shamshyan.com, the man was already deceased when he arrived at the hospital.
The Shirak region police and investigators have identified the deceased as 35-year-old Vahagn Harutyunyan, a resident of Gyumri. Police discovered blood-like traces in front of house number 100 on Tigranian Street. A criminal case has been initiated under part 1 of Article 104 of the RA Criminal Code (murder). Law enforcement and investigators are taking steps to clarify the circumstances of the incident and to identify the perpetrator and the weapon used in the crime.
