The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the Armenian Soldier ‘Arrested’ in Kharkov
The news circulating on Azerbaijani and Ukrainian social networks claiming that an Armenian Armed Forces serviceman has been arrested by Ukrainian security forces in Kharkov is completely misinformation. This was stated to 24News by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vahan Hunanyan.
“This is entirely misinformation,” he noted in response to a related question.
It should be mentioned that the news about an Armenian military serviceman being arrested in Kharkov is actively spread on Azerbaijani and Ukrainian social networks, aiming to suggest that our Armed Forces are participating in the military operations unfolding in Ukraine.
