"Staged Filming, Civilian Population Not at Risk" Says Russian Defense Ministry
The Security Service of Ukraine is preparing and already conducting provocations similar to those of the "White Helmets," according to Igor Konashenkov, a spokesperson for the Russian Defense Ministry, as reported by RIA Novosti.
"Staged filming has taken place in Ukrainian cities, allegedly showing 'mass casualties' among the civilian population of Ukraine," he stated.
Konashenkov added that the prepared videos are being distributed through controlled Telegram channels and social networks. He noted that the aim is to accuse Russia and intimidate the civilian population for the purpose of broadcasting these clips through Western media.
"I want to emphasize that the Russian armed forces are not striking Ukrainian cities. The civilian population is not in any danger," Konashenkov declared.
