China Accuses the U.S. of Exaggerating War Threats

China has accused the United States of exaggerating war threats and escalating tensions surrounding the situation in Ukraine. This was stated to reporters by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Wang Wenbin.

"The noise and misinformation raised by certain Western countries create uncertainty in a world filled with problems and deepen suffering and division," he said.

"We hope that the relevant parties will cease such disinformation campaigns and do more for the sake of peace, mutual trust, and cooperation. The authorities of China and Russia are consistently working to develop friendly long-term relations and mutually beneficial cooperation," he added.
