Armenia Pays Excessive Attention to This Issue: Belarusian Foreign Minister on Lukashenko's Scandalous Statements
There can be no talk of a diplomatic scandal between Minsk and Yerevan. This was stated by Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makey during a press conference while commenting on President Alexander Lukashenko's remarks about Armenia in an interview with Vladimir Solovyov.
According to Makey, certain political forces in Armenia have paid excessive attention to this topic. He noted that the interview should be viewed in its entirety.
"There was no mention at all that anyone is being forced to join any kind of integration union... I do not understand at all what talks are circulating about some diplomatic scandal," emphasized the Belarusian Foreign Minister.
It is noteworthy that days ago, Lukashenko stated in an interview that Armenia has no place to escape. "What, do you think they need someone? They have already seen it; Nikol Vovaevich has seen it," said Lukashenko while discussing the prospects for the expansion of the Union State.
