US Embassy in Minsk Urges Americans to Leave Belarus and Transnistria Immediately

The US Embassy in Minsk has urged Americans to leave Belarus immediately, as stated on the State Department's website.

"Do not travel to Belarus due to the risk of arbitrary enforcement of laws, detention, concerning military build-up by Russian forces along the border with Ukraine, COVID-19, and related entry restrictions. US citizens in Belarus should depart immediately using commercial or private transportation," the department reported.

Additionally, the State Department advised against traveling to Moldova and called on US citizens to leave Transnistria immediately.
