Pashinyan Holds Consultation
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a consultation during which the draft strategy for the education sector was discussed.
The officials addressing the draft noted that it outlines the vision and goals for the development of education by the years 2026 and 2030. In particular, the project addresses services provided from preschool to higher education.
The document also presents the main targets that the government aims to achieve in this sector during the mentioned period.
Within the context of the project, an emphasis was placed on the content of education, standards, and the programs and activities planned for preschool, general education, secondary vocational, and higher education, as well as the development of infrastructure, aligning universities with international standards, and efforts towards the establishment of an academic city.
A productive exchange of views took place regarding the project, with a number of questions, observations, and suggestions presented.
Summarizing the consultation, the Prime Minister stated that the ideas raised concerning the resolution of the issues should be incorporated into the strategy. Nikol Pashinyan instructed to circulate the project while simultaneously refining it in light of the issues and suggestions presented.
