Peskov Comments on Why the Table Between Putin and Macron Was So Long
The choice of the long table for the negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron was related to the global situation created by the coronavirus pandemic. This was announced by the official representative of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, as reported by 'Подъем' on its Telegram channel.
"It is exclusively for epidemiological measures," Peskov clarified. Previously, several foreign publications had noted the unusually long table during the meeting in Moscow, where Putin and Macron were seated.
