Azerbaijani Forces Open Fire on Workers Near Askeran: Artsakh Prosecutor's Office

The Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Artsakh reports that on February 5, around 12:00 PM, multiple rounds of fire from an Azerbaijani military position located in the area known as "Oghten Mashk" were directed at workers of the "Future Generations Fund" LLC at a stone processing site in the administrative territory of the Kharamort village in the Askeran region. The workers, G.B., A.T., and A.H., were performing repairs on a tractor at the time of the attack.

To protect themselves from the gunfire, they were compelled to hide for approximately two hours until police arrived, during which time they called and informed their management about the incident.

Measures are being taken by the Artsakh Police to clarify the circumstances of the event, with the Artsakh Askeran District Prosecutor's Office overseeing the legality of the pre-trial criminal proceedings.
