Does the 'Weight of Power' Not Suffice to Remove Azerbaijani Forces from Armenia? Presidential Candidate Responds
The area where Azerbaijani forces are currently stationed is within the sovereign territory of Armenia. This was stated by presidential candidate Vahagn Khachaturyan during a press briefing with journalists following a government meeting.
"The area where the enemy is currently stationed is Armenian territory, and when this issue is discussed, and we eventually reach an agreement with them, I am confident that they will not be in that area. We are currently pursuing that political strategy," Khachaturyan said.
According to him, after making adjustments to the territories, no one will be present in our sovereign territory.
In response to the question of whether the 'weight of power' does not suffice to remove the Azerbaijani forces from Armenian territory before border adjustments take place, Khachaturyan replied that the weight of power is sufficient, and negotiations are ongoing. Should there be any results regarding this issue, Khachaturyan assures that they will make it public.
