HAKOB ARSHAKYAN TO FULFILL DUTIES OF THE SPEAKER OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

The Public Relations and Communication Department of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia has issued a statement indicating that, in accordance with Article 6, Part 4 of the Constitutional Law on the Regulation of the National Assembly, Deputy Speaker Hakob Arshakyan will fulfill the duties of the Speaker of the National Assembly. This follows the publication of the record regarding the cessation of the powers of the President of the Republic, Armen Sarkissian, until the newly elected President assumes office.
