Saudi Arabia Conducts Almost 50 Airstrikes on Yemen

Saudi Arabia's air force has carried out nearly 50 airstrikes targeting Yemen in the last 24 hours, according to TASS, citing Iranian PressTV.

The strikes were directed at locations in Yemen's Taiz, Sana'a, Marib, Shabwa, and Al-Jawf provinces. There have been no reports of casualties resulting from the military operations.

In recent weeks, the coalition’s air force has intensified its assaults on Houthi military facilities in Yemen, particularly in Sana’a, which is controlled by the rebels. The increased bombardment began after the Houthis seized a cargo ship under the UAE flag near Yemen's Hodeidah port on January 3 and launched an attack on Abu Dhabi using a drone and ballistic missiles on January 17, resulting in the deaths of four people and injuries to at least five others.
