«Are You the Bruce Lee of the CSTO?» Khamaoyan to Pashinyan

The opposition MP Agnesa Khamaoyan joined a recording of former opposition MP Nikol Pashinyan’s statements, in which he criticizes the CSTO. The opposition MP inquired how many obligations Armenia has towards Kazakhstan and why an Armenian soldier was sent to resolve Kazakhstan's internal political situation.

Pashinyan responded that, as per his request, for the first time in the history of the CSTO, a rapid response mechanism was activated, and CSTO troops were dispatched to Kazakhstan.

Khamaoyan replied, “So, are you the Bruce Lee of the CSTO? At one point, you compared the CSTO to Bruce Lee.” She also questioned why Pashinyan had not appealed to the CSTO to remove Azerbaijani soldiers from the sovereign territory of Armenia.

Pashinyan did not provide a clear answer to Khamaoyan’s question, stating, “As you know, there is only one Bruce Lee. Just like throughout Armenia, there was a man in the CSTO whose status even his supporters are now questioning.”
