175 Million AMD Compensation for Syunik Hotels: Kerobyan
Syunik hotels have received a compensation of 175 million AMD from the state. This was announced today by the Minister of Economy of Armenia, Vahan Kerobyan, during a Q&A session with the government in the National Assembly.
“As you know, Syunik hotels have been particularly affected by the coronavirus and the shocks from the war. Additionally, due to certain security issues, the occupancy rates at Syunik hotels have also been insufficient this year. For this reason, the government decided to provide additional support to the hotels in Syunik,” said Kerobyan.
The minister noted that the government is closely monitoring the situation and is ready to provide new support to businesses in border regions if necessary.
In total, 1 billion AMD has been allocated for various programs in Syunik in 2021.
