The Situation in Kazakhstan Has Stabilized: Ministry of Internal Affairs
The situation has stabilized in all regions of Kazakhstan, and previously seized buildings have been liberated. This was announced by acting Minister of Internal Affairs Erlan Turgumbayev.
“As of today, the situation has stabilized across all regions of the country. The operation of communal and life-support systems is being restored,” said Turgumbayev.
It is noteworthy that mass protests in Kazakhstan began in early 2022. Residents of the western cities of Zhanaozen and Aktau protested against the doubling of liquefied gas prices.
