Armenian Peacekeepers Deployed to Kazakhstan Completed
The deployment of Armenian peacekeepers to Kazakhstan as part of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) forces has been completed. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
Recall that taking into account the decision of the CSTO Collective Security Council to send collective peacekeeping forces to the Republic of Kazakhstan for a limited period in accordance with Article 4 of the Collective Security Treaty, the Armenian Armed Forces have deployed a peacekeeping unit (comprising 100 servicemen) to Kazakhstan as part of CSTO peacekeeping forces.
During the mission, the peacekeeping unit of the Armenian Armed Forces will exclusively conduct the protection of strategically significant buildings and infrastructure.
