Putin Congratulates President Armen Sarkissian

Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, on the occasion of the New Year and Christmas holidays, according to the press service of the Armenian President.

"Armenian-Russian relations are based on the good traditions of friendship, cultural and spiritual intimacy. I am convinced that in the coming year, our bilateral allied cooperation and constructive collaboration in various fields will continue to develop for the benefit of our fraternal peoples and to strengthen stability and security in the region," the congratulatory message from the President of the Russian Federation stated.

Putin wished Sarkissian and his relatives and close ones good health, success, and happiness, while also wishing peace and prosperity to the citizens of Armenia.
