Construction of a New Road Begins in Askeran Region
The Ministry of Urban Development of Artsakh has announced the commencement of construction work on a new road connecting the Kharamor community to the regional center in the Askeran area.
"The construction is being carried out with the direct involvement of representatives from the Russian peacekeeping mission, who are ensuring the safe execution of the work. In the post-war period, given the current realities, the construction of this new road is of great importance, as it will not only be used by the Russian peacekeeping forces as a route but will also provide a safer way for the residents of the Kharamor community to communicate with the city of Askeran," the ministry noted.
The length of the road will exceed 3.5 kilometers. The earthworks phase is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The construction is being carried out by the company "Hayk and Narek" LLC.
