Putin and Biden to Hold Private Video Call Today
There is no expectation of progress ahead of the summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Joe Biden. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in anticipation of today’s video call format meeting. Lenta reports.
At the same time, Peskov noted that the escalation of tensions in Europe is currently very high. “This is extraordinary, which requires personal discussion at the highest level,” he said.
Peskov also emphasized that the communication between the leaders can already be considered a success. The video call between the presidents of Russia and the United States will take place privately today at 18:00 Moscow time.
