Threats from a KP Employee at Abovyan Hospital Regarding Election Participation

In Abovyan, members of the ruling party are employing various methods to direct voters towards their candidate and ensure they receive votes, as coordinated by the Minister of Environment and an Abovyan native, Romanos Petrosyan, reports 'Hraparak'. The website notes, 'After becoming a governor and then a minister, Romanos formed groups and has been actively interfering in the electoral process, pressuring people through state-sponsored coercion to vote for the KP.'

For instance, a girl named Anahit Mkrtchyan, whom Romanos secured a job for at the Abovyan medical center using his connections, revealed through Viber that she is openly threatening voters, coercing them to vote for their candidate and select number 4, which is the KP's number. She has created a group on Viber, including Abovyan residents, and subtly threatens them via message that those who do not vote for the KP should not expect anything from them in the future, and they will find out who participated in the election and who did not.

We have come across her messages where she first reminds everyone that today there are local elections in Abovyan, then politely 'threatens' and blackmails them. 'I will say that the results of your participation in the elections will be published online by the Central Election Commission in the end. In the future, if you raise any community issues, your participation or non-participation in the election will be taken into account. Therefore, be responsible for your vote, fulfill your duty, and afterwards you can present your demands. We are number 4 on the ballot,' the girl has 'threatened' using old, disreputable methods.

And this is not the first instance where Romanos and other KP members are trying to influence the elections using the same illegal methods that they previously fought against, 'stealing' votes from the electorate.
