New Regulations Established for Entry from Georgia to Armenia

Changes have been made to the regulations for entering Armenia from Georgia.

Specifically, while previously all individuals entering Armenia could present a PCR test at the border or airport, under the new changes made by the Armenian government, this can now be done only by citizens of the Republic of Armenia. Citizens of other countries must present a negative PCR test result at the border or enter Armenia with a vaccination certificate.

The vaccination certificate can also be presented via a mobile application or in a printed form generated from the mobile application, containing a protected QR code, which allows for the verification of all requirements for the vaccination certificate.

No negative test or vaccination certificate is required for children up to 6 years and 11 months and 29 days old when entering Armenia.

For foreigners, entry into Armenia remains open both by air and land, provided they present a certificate of a negative PCR test result valid for a maximum of 72 hours or a vaccination certificate. Those without any of the above-mentioned certificates will be prohibited from entering the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
