6.15% of Voters Participated in Local Elections by 11 AM; Active Participation Recorded in Tumanyan Community, Passive in Vagharshapat
As of 11 AM, 6.15% of eligible voters have participated in the local government elections. The highest participation rate of 16.07% was observed in the Tumanyan community of Lori Province, where 808 out of 5,029 eligible voters cast their ballots.
In contrast, the lowest participation was seen in the city of Vagharshapat, where only 3.14% of eligible voters participated. Out of 43,267 eligible voters, 1,359 cast their votes.
It is important to note that today, elections are being held in 36 communities across 7 provinces of Armenia using a proportional representation system for local self-governance bodies.
