Today, Pashinyan's Foreign Minister Announced Turkey Has Set New Precondition: Corridor - Tigran Abrahamyan
Today, Pashinyan's Foreign Minister announced that they want to normalize relations with the Turks, but Turkey has set a new precondition: a corridor. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the 'We Have Honor' faction, on his Facebook page.
“When I said that we cannot receive 'positive signals' from Turkey, as Pashinyan insisted, various figures representing the government were making futile efforts to convince that the Turks have changed, and that it is worth normalizing relations. When Erdogan was explicitly and implicitly speaking about normalization of relations with Armenia in exchange for conditions, these people were asserting that there were positive signals. Today, Pashinyan's Foreign Minister has announced that they want to normalize relations with the Turks, but Turkey has set a new precondition: a corridor. Everyone understands who is in power in Armenia and, taking advantage of the opportunity, who is seizing their share, while in return, Armenia only receives losses and sacrifices,” he wrote.
